Chain 20 stitches, crochet some rows of the knit stitch pattern (see video for details)

20 stitches = 11.5 cm

Head size: 50cm

20 / 11.5 x 50 = 87 stitches
—> 90 stitches chosen

Chain 90 stitches (color Lime)
Chain 1 and turn
Pick up stitches through the back purl

When there are a bunch of stitches on your hook, turn and attach the 2nd yarncake (color Nature) through the 1st stitch (tie a simple knot)
Pull the yarn through the 1st stitch, then pull always through 2

Alternate between picking up stitches (color Lime) and pulling through 2 (color Nature)

After 1 row - join the stripe to a circle, avoid twisting

13 rounds: knit stitch
Crochet a double border

45 rounds: knit stitch

Finish all the stitches by pulling through 2 (color Nature), cut the yarn, pull it through the last stitch, tighten.

2nd double border by slip stitching (color Lime)
Connect actual stitches and count 13 rounds backwards (opposite site stitch)

Sew all the loose ends
