This top is made the same way, but without sleeves.

Collar height: 5 stitches

178 rows single crochets through the back loop

Join to a circle by slip stitching, half double crochets across the round
178 stitches

58 sleeves - 29 per sleeve

Crochet 31 rounds half double crochets with increases

Skip the sleeve sections and crochet only the torso part (front and back part).

Half double crochets in spiral rounds until your top is long enough.
In this example: 75 rounds

Last stitch: 1 slip stitch, chain 1
Cut the yarn, pull it through and sew all your loose ends
