Care instructions:
Handwash recommended, max. 30°C
Washing machine: wool cycle, lukewarm
Dry on a flat surface
Do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron
Please do not dry your projects while hanging. Gently push out water out of your projects, do not wring.
Lay it down, shape and let it dry e.g. on a towel or blocking mats.
Woolen handicrafts do not absorb the smell of sweat and do not smell like synthetic yarns. Wool clothes do not have to be washed several times. Simple ventilation is often enough. Wool is dirt-repellent. Wash only if heavily soiled. This is a big advantage over synthetic clothing, which is changed almost daily. Saves electricity, water, detergent and time. This is not unhygienic.
The gradient will be delivered as series (multiple numbered yarncakes) from:
3ply 2100m
4ply 1600m
5ply 1100m
6ply 1100m
The gradient has no repetition.
Color Blocking
No gradient, single color blocks
Please enter max. 25 single colors into the custom gradient field.
E.g. Weiß, Schwarz, Papaya, Schwarz, Haselnuss, Schwarz
Glitter thread option
Yes: The gradient will be made incl. a glitter thread.
No: Gradient yarncake without glitter.
There is no pendant on glitter yarn balls.
Please unravel these yarn balls from the outside.
Merino and glitter thread in combination is best for advanced knitters and crocheters.
Merino and glitter tend to have loops and need an advanced level for not getting frustrated.
If you never worked with our Colors gradient yarns before we strongly recommend to choose a Colors yarn ball without glitter for your first project.
Gradient options
Usual gradient: Each color section has the same length. The gradient is homogeneous.
Shawl gradient from the inside: Special gradient for triangular shawls. The first color sections are very short, towards the end of the yarncake they get longer.
In order to be able to process this type of gradient, you have to unwind the yarncake from the inside.
Shawl gradient from the outside: This type of gradient should be unwind from the outside.
The benefit of this method is that you're not getting a hole in your yarncake, the yarn will be stable during the project. Perfect for travel.
Organic Merino gradients have got long knot ends
We create long color change knots. This way you can carry the yarn and shorten the ends as you like.
These ends can be visible on your yarncake and are sticking out or hanging on your yarncake sometimes.
