Skys Milano Dress - Knitting Pattern (for any size)

Materials:

• Yarn: Woolpedia Milano Pure Fuxia (600m for size 6-8 years)
• Needles: ChiaoGoo Bamboo Knitting Needles 4mm

Gauge:

• 17 x 14cm
• 20 stitches = 17cm width
• 20 rows = 14cm height

Instructions:

Use the Raglan Calculator on the Woolpedia.de website to get the correct raglan distribution for your size. First, measure the head circumference.

• Head circumference: 56cm (6-8 years)
• Cast on 78 stitches.
• Knit 3 rows in Garter Stitch (knit all stitches).
• Join to work in the round.
• Knit 1 round in Stockinette Stitch (knit all stitches).
• Place markers (set raglan markings).

• Increase 2 stitches at each raglan line every 2nd round (1 increase before and 1 increase after each marker).
• Continue knitting in Stockinette Stitch in the round.
• Repeat the 2 increases per marker every 2nd round.
• Continue knitting until the sleeve sections are large enough for the arms and the body section is large enough for the torso (approx. 30 rounds).

Separating the Sleeves & Body:

• Bind off the sleeve sections.
• Continue knitting only the body section.
• Place 4 markers evenly spaced around the round.
• Increase 1 stitch at each marker every 2nd round.
• Continue knitting until you reach your desired length.
• Bind off the skirt section and weave in all loose ends.
